5 Ways to Help Prevent Osteoarthritis*
  • Treat injured joints nicely. Don't "play through the pain,"
    follow the RICE presciption: rest, ice compress and elevate the injury
  • Maintain a healthy weight.
  • Move, move, move. Boosts flood flow to cartilage. Try gentle aerobic exercise.
  • Skip the stilettos.Wearing high heels raises the risk of developing osteoarthritis.
  • Consider taking glucosamine and chondroitin. Check with your doctor.
